The Wildlife Retreat sits inside Taronga Zoo on the Mosman headland, looking back across the harbour to the city. Water taxis land at Taronga Zoo Wharf directly below, and the zoo's Sky Safari or a short shuttle takes you up to the retreat.
It is one of the few places you can stay right on Sydney Harbour bushland, and it is an easy water transfer from Circular Quay, Rose Bay or Balmoral.
