Are Water Taxis Available at Night in Sydney?

Standard service hours and after-hours pickups

• 6am–10pm — standard service window. Book Now (same-day, inside this window) is confirmed instantly by the first available operator.
• 10pm–1am — after-hours pickups on request. A flat $75 surcharge applies to the boat, on top of the normal all-inclusive fare.
• After 1am — special-event only (NYE, Vivid, wedding wrap-ups). Contact the operator in advance to arrange.

If your pickup is between 9pm and 6am the next morning, you use the Book Later flow on Water Taxis Australia. Book Later locks the operator in ahead of time so a boat is guaranteed to be waiting.

Public holiday surcharge

A $100 surcharge applies to trips picking up on NSW public holidays (New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Queen's Birthday, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day). The surcharge is added to the all-inclusive fare shown at booking; there is nothing to pay on the wharf.
